REVIEW FOR THE FIRST EXAMINATION
1. Grammar. 
1. Tenses: (C¸c th× cña ®éng tõ)
	- Present simple:	* to be: 	S + is/am/are + ...
	* ordinary verbs:	S + V/ V(-s/-es) + ... 	
* Adverbs: everyday, every morning ..., always, usually, often, sometimes, 
- Present progressive:	S + is/am/are + V-ing + ...
* Adverbs: now, at the moment	
	- Future tense with will	S + will(’ll) + V(inf)...	
	 	*Adverbs:	tomorrow , tonight , next week / 	 can/could
- Modal verbs: 	 S +	 must + V(infinitive)
	 	 have to	
	 ought to/ should

	Ex: 	at six o’clock/ on Monday/ in February / at the back of the library 
5. Exclamations: (C©u c¶m th¸n): 	What (a/ an ) + Adjective + N !	
Ex: What a happy day!
6 .Comparative and superlative: (so s¸nh h¬n vµ so s¸nh nhÊt) 
	good - better - the best
	cheap - cheaper - the cheapest 
	 expensive- more expensive - the most expensive
Ex: This house is more expensive than that one.
7. Some other structures: (Mét sè cÊu tróc kh¸c): 
would like to + V(inf) / want to + V(inf) / need + to V(inf) / N
enjnoy / like + V-ing / N
Let’s + V(inf) ...
Why don’t we + V(inf) + ...? 
What about + V-ing + ... ?

- Haønh ñoäng ñang xaûy ra trong QK, thì moät haønh ñoäng khaùc xaûy ñeán:
 VD: When I was walking in the street yesterday, I met her.

	- Theâm d neáu ñoäng töø keát thuùc baèng e: 	 likeliked, arrive arrived
 - Gaáp ñoâi phuï aâm neáu ñoäng töø moät vaàn keát thuùc baèng moät nguyeân aâm (u,e o, a, i) vaø moät phuï aâm: stop stopped, fit fitted
